How to Find us

This area is unlike the rest of Turkey. Of course, that is one of the reasons that you are visiting it. It is not only the diversity of historic sites that make the area worth visiting, but also its cultural wealth.

By car:

Turn off the main Urfa-Diyarbakir highway at the town of Hilvan following signs for the settlement of Golcuk. Yuvacali Koyu is 5km along the Hilvan – Golcuk road, clearly signposted.

By plane:

Sanliurfa GAP airport is 22km distant. Taxis are available at the airport. Transfers can be arranged on request at a cost of €20.

From Urfa:

Yuvacali is 55km from Urfa.
Take a minibus from Urfa to Hilvan where a private transfer will meet you to take you the final 5km to Yuvacali (there is no public transport between Hilvan and Yuvacali).The transfer between Hilvan and Yuvacali  needs to be arranged prior to arrival. The cost is 5TL per person each way.
Should you not wish to use public transport, a private car and chauffeur can pick you up at your hotel in Urfa and bring you directly to your village accommodation. The cost is €35 for up to four people.

From Diyarbakir:

Yuvacali is 120km from Diyarbakir.
Take an intercity bus heading for Urfa and get off at Hilvan where a private transfer will meet you to take you the final 5km to Yuvacali (there is no public transport between Hilvan and Yuvacali). The transfer between Hilvan and Yuvacali needs to be arranged prior to arrival. The cost is 5TL per person each way.

From Mount Nemrut:

Yuvacali is approximately two-hours travelling time from Kahta.
Take a minibus from Kahta to Siverek. The minibus will cross the Euphrates by ferry before arriving at Siverek minibus terminal. Take a second minibus for Urfa, getting off at Hilvan where a private transfer will meet you to take you the final 5km to Yuvacali (there is no public transport between Hilvan and Yuvacali). The transfer between Hilvan and Yuvacali needs to be arranged prior to arrival. The cost is 5TL per person each way.
